While Stephanie’s original tertiary education was in early childhood care and development, she has more than 30 years’ experience working in “human interaction”.
She has worked with individuals, couples, families, work groups and colleagues across a variety of situations, multicultural settings and environments. Her curiosity and passion for learning has taken her from nursery nurse to childcare consultant and on to coach, facilitator and mediator.
Stephanie graduated from Norland Nursery Training College (UK) in 1979 completing the NNEB, RSH and Norland Diplomas. Since 1980 Stephanie has worked in a wide range of childcare situations in the UK, Middle East, Europe, USA and South Africa. In these countries she held the position of professional nanny, nursery school teacher, housemother to emotionally disturbed children, teacher to disabled children, childcare training college lecturer and childcare consultant. She opened Choice Child Care in 1995 and ran this successful agency for many years, eventually transforming it into the coaching, facilitation and mediation consultancy Work & Family Matters in 2014.
